Light Technology

Equipped with an extraordinary optical system, Urania illuminates with a high quality beam of natural white light. Urania is the first lamp completely designed by Calzavara and it inherits knowledge that has been acquired in over twenty years of experience in LED light technology.

Direct illumination technology

Direct technology illumination, thanks to the Fresnel lens, produces an incredibly homogeneous light and a clear and well defined spot that effectively illuminates the work area.Urania is available with two bright spots: 180mm x 80mm, specific for the dental industry, 300mm x 200mm for many needs.

Up to 40.000 lux of natural white light

The illuminating beam is of white light, natural and of high quality. The Colour Rendering Index of 80 points the maximum brightness of 40.000 lux and the colour temperature of 5.400¡ K are the guarantee of a perfect colour perception in the area illuminated.

Adjustment of the light intensity

Three light intensity settings allow it to reduce the brightness in order to continue to see perfectly and work without the risk of the photopolymerizing resins gardening.

Unique features

Urania offers very high performance with low running costs since it offers 20 years of life with a power consumption of 80% less than lamps with traditional halogen technology.

Silent

Urania is a relaxing and silent lamp. Thanks to the complete absence of heat emission, it does not feature cooling fans.

Design and built in Italy

Urania was designed and built in Italy. The design takes the aesthetic component into account but it does not neglect installation flexibility and the fact that it is easy to use and to clean.

Installation flexibility

The head of the lamp is combined with the articulated arm that allows for installation on any unit, on the wall, on the ground and from the ceiling.

Simple to use

The three-axis rotation system allows you to control the light beam in a precise, fast and light manner in every situation.

Easy to clean

The body of the lamp, made of high strength plastic, and the arm made of powder-coated aluminium, guarantee a long life and easy cleaning with common detergents. The handles can be easily removed and they can be sterilized in an autoclave.
